early neutral evaluation
You are probably here because you have a dispute and are looking for an arbitrator, a mediator, or an early neutral evaluator.
Disputes risk losing the business relationship, cost money, and cause employees to spend time looking backward instead of forward.
You may be handling your dispute yourself at the commercial level or you may have referred it to your insurer, in-house counsel, or outside lawyer.
You may be a risk manager, claims executive, in-house counsel, or outside lawyer.
You are looking for experience and judgment in the arbitrator, mediator, or early neutral evaluator you choose.
Your dispute--large, medium, or small-- is important to you.
If it's important to you, it's important to me.
I worked in a family business, studied in Germany, got a law degree, clerked for a judge, and practiced law for 25 years, working to resolve disputes amicably and presenting to arbitrators and judges those disputes which could not be.
I then handled marine insurance claims for 11 years, working with lawyers and correspondents in the US and around the world to resolve disputes, including participating in numerous mediations in the US as well as in Canada and in London.
